  After a number of contacts with Grant I travelled the 3.5hr journey to look at a golf (sd61 ylh). The car was at the top end of the valuation scale for its age and mileage but was advertised as 'great' inside and out. There was plenty of opportunity in our communications prior to me visiting for discussing any faults with the car. On arriving and seeing/driving the car there were a number if issues (damage to side of car, alloy wheels in very bad state, crack in windscreen bigger than 10mm, wear evident depressing/releasing clutch, worn interior, no spare wheel). Not only was there a complete refusal to commit to fixing the noisy clutch but strangely Grant would not negotiate on the price whatsoever. Very disappointing as I wasted a lot of time and money viewing and had I not noticed these issues (which the seller denied noticing) I'd have bought a car which is definitely not 'great'.

  We got a Ford Focus and we can’t be happier with the car, the lads were very helpful in finding us the right car, they even went out of their way to pay for the brakes to be fixed after the warranty had ran out. I will be back for my next car. Highly recommended
